We’ll gather at 10 a.m. for stories and play. We have LOTS of new children’s books, so come explore! All are welcome.

Join us for a fun and educational outdoor program presented by Siber Sled Dogs at the Waterville Town Library on April 1, 2023 at 11 AM, right after Story Time.  Meet and pet the dogs and take pictures on the sled.

Children’s Literacy Foundation Awards Rural Libraries Grants 

Waterbury Center, VT: The Children’s Literacy Foundation (CLiF) has selected 12 public libraries across Vermont and New Hampshire as recipients of its 2022-2023 Rural Libraries grant program. Each of the chosen sites will receive two storytelling performances hosted by CLiF’s professional presenters, new books for the public library, new books for the local elementary school library, a mini-grant for library programming, and new books for children to choose and keep for themselves.

 Updates on library hours, events, and trustee meetings will be posted here, on Facebook, and Front Porch Forum, and in the News & Citizen.  Masks are optional at this time. With your library card you can check out a book or a library pass, read an e-book or listen to an audio book at Listen Up! Vermont or with the Libby app.  Do you want to read a newspaper or magazine, look up something you're interested in or help your child with a  project or home school? Try the Vermont Online Library. Send us an email to get a library card or visit in person.   The Waterville Town Library is run by a dedicated group of volunteers and our library trustees. We are always looking for new ideas and new volunteers.  Help make the library a vibrant learning place: Sign up to be a volunteer. The next trustee meeting will be Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 6:00pm.  Send an email to librarian@watervillelib.org  to receive our occasional newsletter and event updates, to use the library by appointment, to get a library card number or password.  Please be patient if the library has to close due to volunteers not available to staff the library.  Thank you.
